Key for Teacher Assessment
All pupils from Year 1 to Year 4 have been given Teacher Assessment judgements for Reading, Writing, Maths and Science based on the new National Curriculum. Pupil attainment is placed in the following categories:
- Emerging – Yet to be secure in the end of year expectations
- Developing – Secure in the majority of end of year expectations
- Secure – Secure in almost all of the end of year expectations and is able to use and apply their knowledge and skills confidently
- Greater Depth – If a child has developed a deep and thorough understanding of the year group objectives.
